| Phillip is a true California boy, having grown up in Sonora, CA and he's lived in the Golden State ever since. He was a theatre geek in high school but went on to major in computer science at San Jose State University where he continued to take drama classes on the side. After leaving college to work in the tech industry in 2000 he trained by night with Dr. Donna Mendoza at San Jose City College and with Billie Shepard at the San Jose Repertory Theatre. He soon became disenchanted with a life of sitting behind a desk and began his pursuit of a life of acting. His recent roles include Keppler in the original stage play The Woman in Armor at the Canada College Flexible Theatre for which he also filmed and edited green-screen content to project on-stage, Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Carol, and Athos and Bicarat in separate productions of The Three Musketeers at the Canada College Flexible Theatre and City Lights Theatre Co. respectively. When he's not acting, Phillip enjoys hiking, snow skiing, acrobatics, dancing, learning the piano, trying new things that scare him, and engaging in playful mischief with innocent bystanders. |
