Phillip is a true California boy, having grown up in Sonora, CA and he's lived in the Golden State ever since. He was a theatre geek in high school but went on to major in computer science at San Jose State University where he continued to take drama classes on the side. After leaving college to work in the tech industry in 2000 he trained by night with Dr. Donna Mendoza at San Jose City College and with Billie Shepard at the San Jose Repertory Theatre. He soon became disenchanted with a life of sitting behind a desk and began his pursuit of a life of acting.

His recent roles include Jedi Cael Nordiun in the live Star Wars-inspired stage productions Balance of Power, an original trilogy; Jonathon in the music video New Orleans by The Shadow Opera which he also co-produced, and the Holy Man in Holy Man, also written and directed by Chris Ellis of The Shadow Opera.

When he's not acting, Phillip enjoys hiking, snow skiing, acrobatics, dancing, learning the piano, trying new things that scare him, and engaging in playful mischief with innocent bystanders.
